Federation CJA is proud to be hosting an Interfaith Engagement Communtiy of
Practice (CoP) intended to foster a community of like-minded professionals
that are focused on engaging interfaith couples and families.
If you are a community professional or volunteer who is interested in
furthering your interfaith couple and family engagement strategy, we hope you
will join us in person on Thursday February 16th from 12:00-1:30pm! Lunch will
be served. This session is the second of a 6-part series that will include
monthly meetings from January through June 2022.
Each Interfaith Engagement Community of Practice session will include a
networking component, the sharing of best practices when it comes to
interfaith engagement, a peer-to-per coaching component, and a capacity
building workshop. This session, our capacity building workshop will focus on
**_The Challenges of Outreach: How do we engage people who have no connection
to our community?_** In this workshop we will address one of the biggest
challenges of outreach and engagement; how do we connect with people who are
not yet connected to our community? More specifically, how can we engage
interfaith couples and families if we don’t know who they are? Participants
will explore different outreach strategies and best practices, identify which
would work best for their engagement programs, and leave with an action plan
to further their outreach efforts.
