Protecting Yourself and Others from Financial Elder Abuse

As the population of older adults increases, it is becoming more and more
common to rely on family members, trusted friends and caregivers to help with
our finances. Unfortunately, statistics show that most financial abuse is
perpetuated by someone we believe we can TRUST.
There are practical measures we can put in place to protect our resources so
we can avoid the stress and emotional duress that is a result of financial
instability late in life. Our expert panelists featuring Elder Law expert
lawyer Ann Soden and notary Alana Greenberg will outline best practices to
protect ourselves and teach us how to spot the warning signs of financial
